Julio Alfonso is a native Los Angelino who caught the acting bug after graduating from UCLA with degrees in History and Classical Civilization.  After working in IT for a few years, he got tired of naming web servers and workstations after the Greek gods and found that being on stage or in front of the camera was where he'd rather be during his free time.  Usually living out dual roles as a tech by day and artist by night, he's always found the time and energy to commit himself to his artistic and professional goals.  In the past, Julio has performed with the touring Asian-American theater company, hereandnow, and is a current member of Cold Tofu's Lab team, a multi-ethnic improv company based in Little Tokyo.  He has also had speaking roles in three Cine Excel films: "GiANTs", "Magma” and “Internetrix” and has had the opportunity to work on various student film projects.
